What the hell?: Today my unregistered html editor told me my time was up. I still had the .zip file that I downloaded in the first place so I figured I could just uninstall and then unzip and setup the program again. But after doing this it still told me my time was up! How did it know that after being deleted!? I guess notepad is good enough now that I know the basic html commands.

Plane Crazy rules!: I just tried the demo for Plane Crazy and it is everything I hoped for. If you've played Diddy Kong Racing on the N64, you will find it is a lot like the plane races in that game. The graphics run perfectly smoothly in 640x480 resolution on my p120 with Monster 3D card even though the minimum system requirements state that you need a p166. The demo is pretty short, giving you just one of 5 single player races with a time limit but I've been playing it over and over again. If you like fun and different racing games that pay less attention to realism than some of the sims out there, check out this game. See yesterday's news for download sites.

South Park: I've seen a lot of references to the comedy cartoon "South Park" on other pages and have always wondered what the show was like because we don't get Comedy Central here. I downloaded the famous 50 meg, 5 minute long, Christmas episode a long time ago and thought it was really cool but it bugged me how all you people with Comedy Central get to see all these cool episodes. Today I did a netsearch for South Park stuff and found a cool ftp site with about 10 full episodes on it! They're in real video format and each 20-25 minute video is about 5 megs zipped. I watched a bunch of episodes today. I should have done this a long time ago. If you want to look for some episodes, check out Mr Hat's Hell Hole.

Old messages: I moved a bunch of messages from early February to the Old Messages page. I think I'll start doing this every week or so to keep the main page small and easy to download.

Plane Crazy: I've been waiting to see the Plane Crazy demo for a while. It's a 3D accelerated stunt plane racing game. I'm downloading the huge demo now. It's 40 megs and was released this weekend. I'm expecting it to be awesome but won't know for sure until I play it. You can get it from Psychonews or the PC Release List.

Beta Patch #7: Apparently Blizzard wants to make a 7th beta patch for Starcraft. Looks like we'll still be waiting a while for the final game.

Name day :): Today, February 14th, is my name day (the day that my folks came up with something to call me). No one celebrates it in North America but where I come from it's bigger than a birthday :).

Win: We won our basketball game today, 69-61. The ref's were rookies and weren't calling enough fouls. I hurt my left wrist pretty badly, might have to see a doctor.

Mysteries of the Sith: If you have Jedi Knight, be sure to check out the expansion pack. I've only played the first couple single player levels but they're a lot more intense than in the original game. The multiplayer levels look pretty great too. There are deathmatch levels in the tree tops, in cloud city, and in Luke's home on Tattooine. The new demo let's you play the first single player mission and you don't need the original game to run it. You can get it at the PC Release List.

Another Star Control 4 preview: PC Gamer has previewed Star Control 4. They say that the game will focus on action rather than adventure. I dunno if that's a good idea.

Motoracer 2: Operation 3DFX has the first screen shots of Motoracer 2 up. The graphics look a little better, not sure what else they changed. Should be a great game if it's anything like the first one. Hopefully we'll see it this summer.

Big loss: Just got killed in a high school basketball game. It wasn't a pretty sight. Their players all looked like they had failed grade 12 a few times and we're a pretty small team so it was a mismatch. Had to drive for half an hour to get there too. Tomorrow morning we're playing some other team out in the stix. I'm sure they'll suck :).

Star Control 4 preview: Psychogamer has put up a short preview of Star Control 4. It won't be out until Fall or later :(. The Star Control games are the best RPG's for the computer.

Top 50: Online Gaming Review has a special feature about the top 50 games of all time. I was pleasantly surprised to find Star Control 2 in the #2 spot. I had that game on 3DO in the early 90's and man was it awesome. Definitely one of my all time favourites. They gave Doom #1. We all know that Warcraft 2 is the best computer game of all time.

Battlezone review: Hotgames.com has reviewed Battlezone. I don't think the game is out yet but I'm assuming that they are reviewing the full game. They gave it 5/5.

Top 5 page finished: I added the best action game and flight sim to the Top 5 page. I'll update it again when I find new favourite games.

Another nothing page: Here's a link to a fairly new page about nothing that I found on Cesium's page. There isn't too much content there yet but it might turn out to be pretty cool - Addicted to Gaming.

Doh!: My school reopens tomorrow. The support staff strike only lasted one day but the negotiations will continue next week so I'll keep my fingers crossed :).
